As you can see we don’t have a pile of cash to pay some lawyers to create a huge document that 99% of people don’t read anyway. In that vein if you want to sue us for anything then that is your right but remember we don’t have the money to pay you if by some chance you win.
No one is forcing you to be here and use this website so if you don’t like it or don’t like something on it then no one is stopping you leaving.
This website is open for anyone to register and to view content, images etc that users have posted. There is built in functionality that allows you to make content private or only visible to people you become friends with on the website. Just like really large websites and businesses with tons of cash to spend on security get hacked and peoples personal data leaked, we are honest enough to say that we could also be hacked so whilst we take all precautions we can to stop that there is no guarantee so if there are things you don’t want any others to know or see then just don’t post it.
Cookies, well we like chocolate chip cookies. Apart from that we don’t know to much about them. We do know that some are used by us to store some details to allow you to access the site again without logging in on the same device and a few other things. Some of the services we use such as Google and Bing analytics and the travel search might use and store cookies but again we don’t know much about those.
We are totally opposed to websites selling peoples data and even worse tracking what you do on the internet so we don’t do that. Your information is yours and not ours to make money from by selling it and what you do on the internet is your business not ours. We don’t want to know or care so we do not track you or even know how to. Simple as that.
This website is about travel so content must be primarily related to travel and tourism. If you post other junk or non-travel related content then it and likely you will be deleted. We will not stand for nudity, porn or racism and if any is reported then you will be deleted.
We do not have the time or ability to monitor all content so we have provided a means to report content that you find offensive or non-relevant. We believe in freedom of speech so use that functionality wisely because if you report something that we feel wouldn’t be offensive to a normal person then we are more likely to block you than the content.
Anything posted on this website is the opinion of the person posting it and not ourselves and as such we wont be held responsible for anything on this site no matter what it is.
On some pages we provide a tool that allows the user to search for flights, accommodation, car hire and other travel related services. This is a white label service provided by a third party that compares prices and offers from numerous services providers and presents a selection of those in the search results. As we don’t have any control over those results we cannot guarantee or verify their accuracy. Bookings are made directly with the service providers and we have no involvement at all in that process and as such we cannot be held liable for anything in regards to those bookings.
Businesses who are members on the site are allowed to promote their products and services including travel bookings. We don’t charge them, don’t take a commission, don’t make any money from them and don’t partner with them nor do we vet them and as such we cant be held liable for anything they might say, offer or sell. You have a brain so do your own due diligence and remember if something sounds to good to be true it usually is. If you see something that is obviously a scam then report it.
If you no longer wish to be a member you can delete your account and all your data will be deleted. To delete your account and data, login to the website and click or tap on your username then go to Settings. Select the “Delete Account” option. Confirm that you want your account and all data deleted. Once confirmed the systems will delete all your data and remove your account.
We have provided a measure to export and download all your data at any time. To request a download click or tap on your profile and go to Settings. Select the “Export Data” option the click or tap on the Request export data” button.
You are able to delete your data at any time by going to your profile and selecting the data (posts, comments, photos, videos, travel tales, etc) you would like to delete and use the delete option provided.
There are probably other things we haven’t covered or thought of here so please be aware that this might be updated at any time.
